We are a family owned and operated flooring installation company, founded in 2021. Don’t let our age fool you. We have, a combined, 29 years of specialized experience in trades and business. We work with local flooring suppliers, hire locally, and serve local families right here in Vermont. Specializing in hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl and carpet.

Gail Gore , president and co-owner, founded Green Mountain Floor Covering, LLC, with her brother Joseph Cota, vice president and co-owner, earlier this year. At the heart of our business is God, family, and a commitment to our community.

Gail has an Associates Degree in Business Management and a Bachelors Degree in International Business from Champlain College. She also earned a Masters Degree in International Marketing Management from Boston University and rounded out her graduate studies, in a distance learning classroom through Harvard, where she earned additional graduate credits in Public Relations and Crisis Management . Over the past 19 years she has worked with, and for, some of the largest construction and trade industry names from Vermont to Milwaukee.

Joseph grew up in the trades from a very young age. However, it wasn’t until 2011 that he started to pursue his passion professionally. He worked under some of the most well known residential and commercial builders and flooring installation companies in Northern Vermont learning, growing, and honing his craft. Forming himself into the detail oriented, customer centric, professional flooring installer he is today.

Together they wish to leave this world a little better than how they found it, starting with each home they are privileged to enter.
